About the Lecture:
José Antonio Ardavín is the Head (a.i) of the LAC Division at the OECD Global Relations Secretariat. He is responsible for coordinating the relationship and outreach of the OECD with the Latin America and the Caribbean Region.
From 2009 to 2013 he was Head of the OECD Mexico Center for Latin America. In this responsibility he liaised between OECD Directorates and the Mexican Government.
José Antonio Ardavín holds a BS in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), and a Master in Public Policy from Harvard University. He has been Professor of the BS in Economics at ITAM. Before joining the OECD, he worked as economist at the Bureau of Economic Research of the Mexican Central Bank, Advisor to the Undersecretary of Finance and Public Credit in Mexico, and Private Consultant in Regional Development.
